This year’s Junior Golf Tour which was played at six different venues around Northumberland, including Allendale, during the spring and summer has now reached its conclusion.
Four of Allendale’s junior members participated and although none of them won their categories, which would have got them into the Northumberland team, they were all well placed in the final Order of Merit:
– Daniel playing in the white tees category finished in third place
– In the blue tees category for 13 years and over Tom Bloomer was sixth out of 13 players
– And in the 12 years and under, blue tees category, James was fourth and Luke fifth out of 16 participants
The tour once again proved to be a wonderful golfing experience for those who participated, playing on a variety of golf courses with a range of different people. Our juniors members played consistently well throughout the series.

you opted to pay your England Golf affiliation fee, then your
personal liability insurance cover came into effect
automatically on 1 July 2019. Should you wish to make
a claim, you will need to have registered with England Golf at
www.englandgolf.org/my-account so Bluefin Sport can
validate your eligibility. They will do this by confirming
both your membership with Allendale GC and your
online registration with England Golf.

Another good result at home to Bellingham on Thursday, Allendale winning 4-1. Many thanks to Neil for making up the numbers and to Jim for acting as Captain at short notice. We have now won six out of eight matches with just one remaining – away to Beamish on Thursday 26th September. The team sheet will be posted out shortly.
