Thank you to all those who came along to Presentation Night to support and congratulate all of the juniors who received awards for their performance during the 2017 season.

Our thanks also to Martin Forster who presented the junior trophies and medals.

Special mention was made of the four Junior members Carl Baxter, Jack Campbell, Jake Reed and Haydn Rutherford, who played in this summer’s Northumberland Junior Golf Tour. There were 5 venues and playing In Category 1, off yellow tees, Jake won at three of them and Haydn at the other two!

All 4 of them then qualified for selection in the Northumberland Under 13 County team that played against Cumbria and Durham at Hartlepool Golf Club. Northumberland won this 3-way encounter for the first time, with Jack Campbell coming a very commendable third in his playing category.
