Hopefully, nobody will notice the difference but, with effect from today (12th Jan 2019) we have implemented HTTPS on the website.  The visible effect of this will be to remove the NOT SECURE message from the browser destination address – never reassuring for people expected to pay online, even though the two system are entirely separate.

301 Redirect has also been implemented to ensure that all HTTP requests are forwarded to the HTTPS website in a search engine friendly way. So links with the “old” HTTP address automatically lead to the HTTPS website.
