As some will be aware, the third green has been taken out of play in order to allow time for recovery and repair.  A temporary green  has been established on the mound above and to the right, in line of sight from the twelfth tee.

For the 17th June Morris Reed Medford competition both third and twelfth tees were used for the approach to the temporary green. However, while this presented an interesting challenge, the pin and green are not visible from the third tee.  Consequently, following feedback after Friday’s competition, it has been decided that for reasons of safety and playability, the twelfth tee will be used for both front and back nine.  Amended temporary signage will be in place for the competitions on Sunday 19th June.

These temporary arrangements will be subject to continuous review and the members updated accordingly.
