Milburn Greensomes Competition 17th August

Hi Everyone,

Your committee is concerned that many playing members are missing out on the competitive fun of playing in pairs competitions.

There are some members who consider pairs golf only “half a round” and miss the point of it all entirely. The challenge of pairs golf is to support your partner in beating your opponents – in other words it ia a TEAM effort, and great fun and satisfaction (and frustration!) is generated as a result.

On 17th August we have the Milburn Greensomes, a pairs competition for any combination of members, Ladies, Juniors, and Gents in any pairing.

There is an information poster in the clubhouse  foyer where you can request a partner, or a pair can request another pair with whom to compete. It would be great to see more of you playing on the day, so please check out the poster on the newly uncluttered notice board and get yourselves paired up for the Milburn!
