Dear All,
Now that the season is well and truely underway I thought I would drop you all a quick e mail.
As Captain I am now starting to get to grips with my duties, it has been a bit of a steep learning curve but we are already into May and the weather is improving, I could say I was living the dream!!!!.
All the competitions are being well attended, which is great for the club and the banter within the clubhouse seems to have carried on from last season. We have tried some new pin positions this year, I hope they have given you all something different to think about.
The Wednesday Comps start this wek on the 7th, so good luck to all that are going to take part. From a personal point I am not going to be able to attend on the evening to open and close the computer so on some occasions it will not be there for you to enter your scores. If the computer is not there for use please will you put your cards in the slot and they will be collected and the scores recorded and circulated. (This may not happen the same day).
Thanks for your understanding on this matter.
Lastly on Saturday 17th May we have the Goan Vase, which is an Invitation day. I am sure most of you know someone who plays golf, so why not invite them up to play your golf course. It is always good to bring someone new to see the course and this is an ideal oppotunity for us all to get people interested, who knows they might like it so much they join.
Thanks everyone for your time and happy hitting.
Iain
